Is it a disease to bleed when you are close to ovulation?

It is not a disease for a patient to bleed when she is close to ovulation. Ovulation is a process, from follicle development to follicle expulsion. A typical follicle size of 18-25 mm can be expelled at any time. During this period, the body’s hormone levels drop briefly and a small amount of bleeding can occur due to the shedding of the endometrium. When the follicle is expelled at ovulation, there is a small fissure in the ovary and little bleeding is absorbed. Some of the bleeding can be discharged from the vagina through the fallopian tubes and uterus. It is a normal physiological phenomenon and does not require treatment.
