About 400 people in the UK get cancer every day due to bad habits

According to the British “Daily Mail” reported on the 26th, the World Cancer Research Fund believes that many modern human diseases are related to lifestyle habits. If people choose a healthier lifestyle, such as quitting smoking, eating healthy, and exercising more, about 1/4 of cancers can be effectively prevented, and if the British reject all bad habits, about 155,000 cases can be reduced each year. In all cancers, breast cancer is the most common, followed by prostate cancer, while lung cancer is the most deadly cancer. 70% of lung cancer is caused by smoking, accounting for almost 1/5 of all new cancer cases each year, and the number of fatal skin cancers caused by excessive sun exposure has increased in the last two years. In addition, 17,000 people died from bowel cancer, which is also closely related to people’s lifestyles and dietary habits. The World Cancer Research Fund recommends that people avoid processed meats and reduce alcohol consumption, which can help reduce the risk of the disease.
