Yang Ke reminded that the following aspects of daily life can be used to prevent the occurrence of stones.

First, a reasonable diet. Drink more water and less beverages containing fructose will increase the chance of kidney stones. Make sure to drink 1500-2000ml of water every day, which can dilute the concentration of urine and reduce the content of calcium components. Salt should not exceed 5 grams per day, as sodium can cause increased urinary calcium excretion. For patients with oxalate stones, foods with high oxalic acid content, such as amaranth, spinach, mango, strawberries, sesame, cocoa, chocolate, tea, various nuts (chestnuts, almonds, walnuts, etc.) should be avoided or consumed sparingly. Can be appropriate to eat citrus fruits can increase the content of citrate (stone inhibition factor) in the urine, which can help prevent the occurrence of stones.

Second, appropriate exercise. According to their own situation, choose the appropriate exercise, such as running, swimming, etc., can increase the body’s immunity and metabolic ability through exercise, to prevent the occurrence of stones.

Third, weight control. Obesity can easily lead to stone formation, obese people should reduce weight.

Fourth, regular medical checkups. Regular check-ups, the discovery of stones should follow medical advice and timely treatment to avoid adverse consequences.
